Phobias & Panic Attacks

A phobia can cause many restrictions on a person’s life.
The fear can be all consuming and prevent you from living life to the full.

Instead, you may feel that you are continually having to consider how to best avoid the thing or situation to which you are phobic.

A phobia can often be caused by an initial traumatic event, which then becomes associated with other trigger factors. Triggers, often increase in number over time. This is why phobias can often seem to get worse over time, rather than get better. People often find themselves having panic attacks in the most, seemingly, unrelated of places or events.
